Start with stability, not channel count
Every provider advertises tens of thousands of channels, but the number tells you very little. What decides whether you enjoy the service is how the servers behave during peak hours — the evening window when most subscribers are watching at once. Ask for a test line and use it between 8 and 11 in the evening rather than at midday.
Check the device you actually own
A good service works on Smart TV, Android, iOS, Fire TV Stick, MAG, Enigma2 and any player that reads an M3U link. If a provider only supports one app, you are locked in.
Look for a real EPG
A complete electronic programme guide is a sign of a maintained service. Missing or wrong programme data usually means the channel list is not curated either.
Payment and support
- Card payment through a known processor, not anonymous transfers
- Support you can reach in your own language, at the hours you watch
- Clear renewal terms and the ability to cancel yourself
Take a free trial before paying, watch the channels you actually care about, and only then commit to a longer period.
